The American Youth Football & Cheer – New England Region (AYF/AYC New England) proudly represents one of the most competitive and community-driven regions in the nation. Our mission is simple: to give every child the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive through the values of teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship.

As part of American Youth Football (AYF) and American Youth Cheer (AYC) — the largest youth football and cheer organization in the world — the New England Region oversees local programs across the New England states. Together, our member conferences and associations serve thousands of athletes, coaches, and volunteers who share a passion for youth development through sport.

We believe football and cheer are more than games - they’re pathways to lifelong confidence, resilience, and belonging. Through structured competition and positive mentorship, we empower young people to:

• Learn the fundamentals of football, cheer, dance, and step
   
• Develop self-discipline, respect, and teamwork
   
• Build lasting friendships and community connections
   
• Strive for excellence on and off the field
   

AYF/AYC New England provides leadership, governance, and event coordination for regional youth programs, including:

• Regional Championships that advance top teams to the AYF/AYC National Championships in Florida
   
• Coaches’ education and certification aligned with USA Football and AYC/YCADA standards
   
• Scholastic recognition programs celebrating student-athlete achievement
   
• Safety initiatives that prioritize player welfare and promote best practices in injury prevention and conduct
