AYFNE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

Beginning in 2025, the AYF New England Region is proud to introduce an annual scholarship initiative to support and celebrate the academic achievements of our outstanding youth in the New England Region. 

Each year, we will award three scholarships to deserving student-athletes who exemplify excellence both on and off the field. These awards recognize commitment to education, leadership, and community involvement - core values of the AYF mission.

Football Athlete- $500

Cheer/Dance Athlete- $500

Jr Demonstrator or Football Coach in Training- $500

Eligibility 

Football- 8th graders Only

Cheer/Dance- 8th Grade or on D16

Jr Demonstrator or Coach in Training- 9th-12th Grades

Must be rostered on a team in the current year.

MUST hold a 96% to 100% GPA for the previous school year.

Application Requirements 

As part of the AYF New England Region’s annual scholarship application, each student-athlete must submit a personal essay, prior years report card, and any volunteer, honor, extracurricular awards.

Essay Topic: Describe how your involvement in cheerleading, dancing, or football has positively impacted your life. How has it helped you stay committed, motivated, and successful in your academic journey?

Essays should reflect the athlete’s personal experiences, growth, and the role youth sports have played in shaping your academic and personal success.

This is your opportunity to share your story and inspire others.

Submissions will be completed by the Conferences under the New England Region and submission process will be announced soon.
